Yeah you just have to go. I don’t think that is fixable.
There’s no point during the detention of a five-year-old that any person with a functioning moral center would not step back to reassess the situation and their place in it. That nobody involved did proves they lack the common interiority required to successfully coexist in ordered society.

3 yo who had only recently been potty trained pooped himself in the parking lot right as I got him from preschool. Got him settled and planned on rushing home but car battery was dead. Lady in the car next to me offered a jump but she had a weird new car and neither of us could make sense of it
