Normally when I’m anywhere I’m on the lookout for #archaeology stone bothering opportunities (and did have some Norman/medieval oops) with a cool castle and the oldest working lighthouse in Europe, but this trip I had some fab fossil stone bothering fun too. Fab, fab, fab!

This will be the story of the election and the usual politico voices on rte radio dismissing it show a wilful ignorance of the trajectory of the electorate and the trumpification of politics. Ignoring the signs will come back to haunt those who still believe in post civil war status quo.
Was at our polling station before going to work & there was someone there who seemed to be doing the same. I think spoiled votes are traditionally higher in low stakes elections like presidential/council ones, but it’s worth watching the trend towards a ‘they are taking our rights away’ narrative
