Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

On 1/11/26, (ICE) and (CBP) in St. Paul, Minnesota, broke the window of an activist at a gas station. They then forcibly removed him from his car and abducted him while simultaneously firing pepper balls at other community members.

This is eight-ish minutes long. It is a vivid picture of the inhumanity and disgracefulness of ICE. Everybody who supports ICE at this point knows who they are. In eight minutes we see somebody find their fight when they see the inhumanity up close. Heavy but genuinely inspiring.
If a woman I cared about was in Renée Good’s shoes, approached by a loud ICE guy yelling “get the fuck out of the car” and grabbing her door, I’d want her to do basically what Good did— leave as slowly & peacefully as possible. The level of cruelty & goonery necessary for this to happen is insane.
