When I watch these ESPN+ games (basketball and hockey) with the home (homers!) announcers I’m always so thankful for @jayburnham.bsky.social and @nathanpstrauss.bsky.social and others. They’re infinitely more professional, skilled,and talented than the usual crew that the other institutions dig up.

The long term goal should be a PWHL draft that encompasses USports and NCAA, with an agreement similar to the NHL. Players can then be drafted younger, attend training camps, etc in their years before signing.
The PWHL's Jayna Hefford says the league will have additional mental health support for players that need it this season.
Also mentions how long term, they want to look at a plater development system for younger players.
Personally, I'd love an academy system like soccer.
