Suppose it'd be remiss of me not to exploit a new social media platform to try and flog a few books. So, if anyone's interested, here's a clip from the audiobook version of my 2015 novel The World Is (Not) A Cold Dead Place, which came out last year, on Audible.

At least Dyche will have more time to go on various podcasts and tell some more Cloughie stories now.

Replying with a jaunty 'yeah, not bad' when someone asks how you are, despite being crushed by depression and incoherent rage.
What "core British values" has "the left" not defended? Can someone ask this sentient fucking saucepan what he means?
Keir Starmer attacks the racism of Reform and Matt Goodwin but then adds that "Britain has also been let down by a mindset on the left of politics that is too slow to defend core British values"

That's just blatantly untrue isn't it? The concept of 'British values' is pretty amorphous anyway, but as I understand them, who defends them more than the left?

He's just so crap at this.

What a vile, contemptible little cunt Bezos is, pretty much singlehandedly destroying the WP.

Bald.

The Washington Post Is in Free Fall—and There’s One Person to Blame
Today’s layoffs at this once great newspaper were nowhere near inevitable. But Jeff Bezos was never committed to the paper’s best traditions.

This is it. Sometimes he frustrates, sometimes he baffles and even infuriates. But there are certain things he just about guarantees like those listed below, and he will usually build and improve his sides. He will occasionally take off that handbrake and he gets a lot more right then he gets wrong.
At no point in his long managerial career has Moyes produced frustration-free football

He’ll make you competitive, put together sides of likeable hardworking pros, banish the spectre of relegation (mostly)

But the handbrake will always be slightly on

That’s the deal

stop using AI to do your research. it hallucinates too often. if you want an answer to something, post something arrogant on the appropriate subreddit. something like: "this item performs 10% better than everything else. only idiots deny this." this will bait nerds into doing your research for you.

RIP, Magnum.
RIP John Clinkard (1954–2026)

Clinkard joined #EFC as a physio in October 1981 following a spell at Fulham, succeeding Jim McGregor. Nicknamed "Magnum" due to his likeness to Tom Selleck, he was at the club until 1988 when he joined Oxford United to be closer to his family.
