Let's agree to disagree on Barry then, I'm sure we can agree that we hope he develops into a decent striker. But bigger issues were the midfield, lack of and wrong changes there when they were needed.

Ideally we sign a decent, reliable ST to allow him time and space to develop with less immediate pressure. But dragging the lad after 58 minutes when - glaring miss aside obviously - he had generally done ok is the worst type of man management from Moyes, who had a 'mare with his subs last night.

I don't see a lazy player, I see a young lad clearly struggling,particularly looking a bit lost out of possession,but who showed some good signs of doing the basics well. No idea if he'll make the grade, but there's potential in there, but his confidence will have been ripped by that early subbing.

He's only started a few games, and most of the time he's trying to hold the ball up in a team that doesnt dominate possession, for the attacking players around him. Time will tell if he develops or not- jury is out but for people to be writing him off already is ludicruous.

Thought he showed promise. Yes the miss was glaring but he won some headers, held the ball up ok in a very physical game. Long way to go but dragging him after 55 minutes was pointless, midfield was the issue at that point.
