There's research suggesting that Black people need more sleep because of racism. Black women need even more because of the double whammy of racism and sexism.
Stress from oppression does shorten your life, a fact Black people have had to live with their entire lives. Work to counter the ensuing inflammation that stress causes can be a faster way to address this issue. And of course you keep fighting oppression. 🩺 #MedSky
