Bought a fresh set of Faber-Castell watercolors so I'm giving them a whirl. The more defined stuff in the foreground was done using Ohuhu alcohol markers and regular colored pencils.

No one lives here anymore. The town is empty, but it doesn't look abandoned. There are still cars in the driveway. The diner is open, even though no one's in it. There's a hot meal waiting for you, the coffee steaming and strong. There's a hotel room key for the Best Western. Everything you need is here. You might as well stay for a bit longer. Let the weariness of the road seep out of your bones. What's the harm?
