The Trump administration is trying to sell federal student loans to private companies.

This sale would be a giveaway to wealthy insiders at the expense of working-class borrowers and taxpayers.

It’s a tremendous mistake, and I’m fighting back.
Warren urges Trump administration to 'immediately cease' student loan selloff plans
Sen. Elizabeth Warren is attempting to stop the reported selloff of the $1.6 trillion student loan portfolio to private companies.

To reopen the government, 60 votes are needed.

However, it only takes 50 votes to change the 60 vote rule.

If the GOP is serious about opening the government, they should vote to end the 60 vote rule.

Legal gender marker and name change is associated with lower negative emotional response to gender-based mistreatment and improve mental health outcomes among trans populations
In recent years, Massachusetts (MA) and Rhode Island (RI) joined a growing list of states allowing residents to easily change the gender marker and name on government-identification (ID) documents. This was an important change for transgender and ...

This story! I’ve only been around for the latest generation & I am so hooked. I actually muted moonie to avoid spoilers then thought, “What’s missing from my life?” Had several days of The Laos Legacy to binge. Is it crazy that I love it so much I can’t handle spoilers & here I am with a spoiler 🫢

He’s a Democrat. He’s 36 years old. He’s a progressive.

His campaign emphasizes anti-corruption, standing up against corporations and wealth, and pro-democracy reform.

Check him out…

So funny to me that with “bad neighbor” and “lover” you could create a very specific trope that I used to enjoy in my romance reading days 🥰
Relationships aren’t just defined by a progress bar. Instead, relationships are defined by multiple specific labels that you unlock as you play and have UNIQUE gameplay attached. And the labels have levels and can be upgraded - this is your "progress". Each para can be several things to your para.

Hey, Maine! You have choices. Just saying.
I got my first job at 16 years old building houses, and today, too many families can’t afford one. We must address the housing crisis:

🔵 Crack down on Wall Street
🔵 Ban rent gouging
🔵 Strengthen renter protections
🔵 Aid 1st-time homebuyers
🔵 Invest in rural Maine
