isn't to discount the way nationality is employed by the imperialist system as a technology of stratification - that borders and citizenship stratify the worker by race+nation, that tagged chains are networks of core-periphery extraction, that land is occupied - but to contextualize it in flows

i think rather than the traditional "the proletariat of X country" frame which often vulgarizes into treating a country's working class as an extension of the nation, it may be useful to see the movement of workers in overlapping regional spheres & positions in networks of imperial extraction

A reminder that Roblox has had age verification for a long time and it has done diddly dick to protect kids, they did that to have an excuse to not ban known predators on their site.

My number of books read this year is currently at 3 if ny count is correct. A nice start with it only being the first half of February. I'm now returning to The Fifth Wound, and alternating it with Wuthering Heights and The Isle in the Silver Sea

Happy to say I finished Veal a few days ago. A nice read indeed, and some very fun prose that dives deep into how dykes flirt with eachother. The plot maybe sputtered a bit near the end, and i'd honestly have been fine with the book being longer just for that (and the delicious interactions).

Also came up with a neat ttrpg idea that's advancing what i'm thinking of as a 'collective storytelling' game. Might end up being a pretty slim thing.
