The more I see and hear about anime from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s, the more convinced I become that any anime fan who dismisses them out of hand as too old is doing themself a disservice.

Some of you probably knew this already, but I've battling multiple myeloma since early this year. I'm about to spend most of the next month in the hospital in the hope of putting it into remission.

Earlier this week I was attempting to watch "Fairy Tail" on Crunchyroll but it was buffering so bad I had to watch something else. I had "Girls und Panzer" in softcopy handy, so I started on it. Finished this evening. Though it was a rewatch, this show never fails to amuse me.

This is pretty close to what happened when my ex-wife and I were nearing divorce, while we were still discussing issues in an effort to reconcile.

I've seen multiple posts on various platforms asking what's my favorite song of 2024 and I've struggled to name a single one. In fact I've been discovering quite a lot of music in recent months but most of it is from decades-old albums I'd never given a proper listen to before.

I once watched an art stream and saw the artist do something very disturbing. She briefly switched to her FurAffinity account where she had earlier posted a sketch, had more than 50 new likes and comments, and then she clicked the 'nuke' button. My jaw dropped. 1/2
