Genuine question: why does Windows 11 offer the option to "Update and shut down" if its just gonna update and restart every time?

"I invented a robot!"
"A real robot, or a mechanical turk?"
"...A mechanical turk"
Why would someone pay $20k for a robot controlled by a human in a remote location to do things more slowly and clumsily when the median wage for a maid or housekeeper is $33k per year, which is typically spread across 10-20 households?

"Gavin Newsom is America's Keir Starmer" is perhaps the most devastating thing that has ever been or could ever be said about an American.
Seeing people in the US of States glazing Newsom's dank memes and being all "Gavin slayyyy" is giving Starmer Fever 2024 and, American pals, it's equally embarrassing to witness.

I think we all need to finally admit that Bayleaves don't actually do anything for your food. Supermarkets sell them because they're in the pockets of big tree, it's all a scam

Elon saying he’s going to reprogram his chatbot’s view of history is a perfect example of why these kinds of AI products aren’t the neutral “tools” people always defend them as. They’re little political projects reflecting the ideologies of their creators
