And now I finally understand why I'm told I'm incredibly confident when I've, at times, I've had enough self-doubt and anxiety to dissolve the boundary between myself and the world around me, let alone my identity or sense-of-self.
I see now I've always trusted my own process.

Confidence comes with doubt just as courage comes with fear; it's your willingness to do what's uncomfortable and uncertain and, with that, breeds the commitment and follow-through that rings true with confidence.
