I’ll admit, at the start of 2026 I didn’t have the regifting of the Nobel Peace Prize on my bingo card.

Never in my life did I think I’d see a woman on the school run shot in the face. Nor could I conceive of a disabled woman, just trying to drive to her Dr’s appointment, being violently dragged out of her car and arrested by ICE - in the US.

Yes, immigration agents not only took Arnoldo's phone, the 10th grader had to use Find My Phone to locate it — in a vending machine for used electronics, close to an ICE detention center.

This European feels the same way. There are amazing places to visit and my US friends are family to me but I don’t want to return. Too much has happened globally because of Trump, his cabal and MAGA. Now, learning about Groypers has me wanting to vomit.
