I didn't ask to be born like this. I don't smoke, I don't drink, I don't take any drugs not prescribed by a doctor. I don't have children, I'm medically unable to drive so I don't run a car.
I do what work I can.
But I still feel stressed every time I hear my thermostat come on.

So I, & millions of others, are trapped. Never well enough to earn enough to live independently, & forced to rely on a begrudging government that keeps threatening to pull the rug out from under us.

I'm rather poor. & Moderately to severely disabled So I get help with some things: cut rate water, discount (slow) internet, income support. Support with local (council) tax.
But if I started to earn just the right amount, that would all go, & that extra income would get swallowed up.

I just heard the other day that someone in my circle earns £2 grand plus a month training AI models.
