OP has disclaimered many times about recommending Dreamwidth because she runs it, but I've been on there since 2009 and it's fine - you need to set up your own space and go find your people but if you've moved to Bluesky from Twitter you can cope with that.

My mother is finally in her new home 😭 this is such a relief. She’s no longer alone in the middle of 80 acres on a dirt road in the country!! I never have to see my childhood home again!! I hopefully will never spend a holiday with my family again!!!

We celebrated Christmas yesterday. I think this was the first time of opening presents in my life where I could just relax and be in the moment.

Oh hey, the app refreshed and I can use my account again!!! … I just won’t ever be able to use this account in any other device, so I guess I better start using my backup account instead. I’ll feel better about giving up the account on my terms than by some dumb error.
