This piece by Garrett Graff is beautifully explained and gives a detailed history of how we got here with ICE and CBP.
The brutal Minnesota occupation—the Global War on Terror transplanted from Kabul or Baghdad to US soil—has a lot of people asking basic q's about ICE and CBP, so I wanted to explain the agencies' problems and what changed to bring this war to our streets. www.doomsdayscenario.co/p/ice-101-ho...

It's customary for Japan's Prime Minister to step into the ring at the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament to bestow the PM's Cup on the winner. But Japan's current PM is a woman - and, even today in the 21st century, the sumo ring remains off-limits to her.

It’s only a matter of time before Saizeriya follows suit. As the old saying goes, “Yesterday’s price is not today’s price, and today’s price is not tomorrow’s price.”
Most restaurants in Japan are raising prices & slashing portions. Not "Italian" chain Saizeriya: it's locked prices but still turning a profit. ITMedia says that, by holding prices steady, Saize becomes a bigger value & consumers spend more, keeping it competitive w/o ad spend.

I will be blind for life. I have fractures in my skull that they can't fix. They pulled a piece of plastic the size of a nickel out of my eye. I had shards of metal, glass, and plastic behind my eye and in my skull. They said it was a miracle I survived.
