Give yourself something to look forward to next year. Something less substantial than a resolution which can carry regret if you can't stick to it. Think of a book you want to read, a genre of music you'd like to learn more about, a curiosity to chase no matter how trivial. Keep your spark lit.

Without anything planned I just default to working on weekends or doing nothing. The biggest lie is thinking we're completely free if we have nothing planned. For me, it does the exact opposite, it traps me

Godot really is pretty good, huh? It genuinely took some time to click, but I've found my flow and am really enjoying my nightly hour or two working on a tiny side project as my upcoming release has started wrapping up.
