My younger kids, both off school today, just told me their favorite way to make warm drinks cool was to put ice in them, with an air like I might tell school to excuse them and their brilliance the rest of 4th and 7th grades, or at least the week.

This is just so mean.
Under a new Florida law HB1105, disabled kids who aren't eligible for a traditional diploma will now also no longer receive a Certificate of Completion. There will be no formal recognition of their attendance, which will cause problems applying for jobs, vocational programs, college, and more.
