I spent the morning at the San Antonio immigration court. It’s out of control.

Whistleblowers just shared a memo showing DHS instructing ICE to force their way into peoples' houses without a proper warrant. Why is this not on all the networks right now? This is a criminal conspiracy to violate rights under color of law.

Senate Democrats absolutely have to shut the govt down to stop this ICE insanity in the Twin Cities. This is not sustainable & cannot be normalized. Any Democratic vote to provide money to the thugs who are brutalizing this community is a grave betrayal to the people here. Accountability can't wait.

I am a PhD student at Brown. One week ago, I was focused on preparing for my finals. Returning to grad school in my 40s was hard, and I was nervous about the tests.
I had no idea how this week would change. I had no idea that my finals would be the least of my worries by Saturday afternoon.

I feel so grateful to the Providence, Rhode Island, and Federal law enforcement agencies that worked together to find the Brown shooter. This week has been so hard. I hope I will wake up feeling less fear tomorrow.
