BREAKING: Rumors are swirling in DC that Bill Clinton will spill the beans on EVERYTHING he knows about Epstein & tRumpstein, leading not only to impeachment, but prosecution!!

This might be why tRumpstein is suddenly so nice to the Clintons... 🥲

If you hear someone saying that they hope lawyers are ready to go to court to protect free and fair elections, I suggest you let them know that my law firm is already litigating more than 80 voting and election cases in 40 states.

Easy to agree with Elie here. I don't think an "elections czar" will do it, but every state-level official who cares about democracy - and a battalion of lawyers - better buckle up for what's coming.
Trump and the Republicans are trying to rig the election. That's not being a "doomer," that's acknowledging reality.
Democrats need a coordinated, national response to these coordinated, national attacks. We need an "Elections Czar"
My latest solution in @thenation.com
Democrats Need to Get Serious About Stopping Trump From Rigging the Midterms
Here’s one idea for a coordinated response to Trump’s coordinated attacks.

I grew up with the Washington Post, wrote editorials for the Washington Post and published a column there for more than 15 years. To watch its owners destroy it, seemingly deliberately, in just a year and a half is devastating.

“Abolish ICE” is not “defund the police” because the vast majority of the American people now know that ICE is the antithesis of law enforcement.

"The Zone of Interest" is a movie worth seeing.
The townsfolk of Begen-Belsen loved their camp. Lots of jobs for the local economy.

Monet often reworked series back home at Giverny—finishing London and Venice canvases years later from memory, sketches, and sensation. The vision matured after the moment.

I couldn't care less about Klein's brand of anything; I was arguing about college kids acting like short-pants commissars, not about neoliberalism.
lol nothing makes me happier than people arguing about Ezra Klein's brand of neoliberalism. They're arguing about students shouting at Ezra at some campus event btw. Guess there weren't any 'abundance bros' in attendance 💔

Sarah Lawrence kids shouting down Ezra Klein.

Because when you're facing a fascist takeover, shouting down a liberal at a college talk is definitely the way.

My guess is because no one wants him around. They've removed him from the main DOJ building and sent him to an office far from the AG and main DOJ in northeast DC.

He should never have been there, as I wrote here:

This is sad, but good: Artists are refusing to normalize this idiocy, and instead of just commanding performances - which they can't do - the Trump people are closing it down and slinking away.
CNN is reporting the real reason Trump is closing the Kennedy Centre for two years is not for renovation: “the Kennedy Center does not have a 2026/2027 season. There would not have been any programming to announce."
