Damon Lindelof's other show The Leftovers is a "Mystery Box" show, but it's pretty clear from the beginning that it's set up mainly to study how the characters cope with such a hypothetical, so I was okay with the mystery never being resolved. But Lost is not like that. & Pluribus is no Leftovers.

I don't believe in this "winging it" approach. I tend to think the ending is the most important part of a story. If they want options they should write several endings, but they should at least have a strong *sense* of how the narrative should/could end.

The show would certainly be better if she were a charismatic curmudgeon, but she's not even Gregory House, she's just dull.

It's a cop-out. But they very often explain it by saying "But that's just like life, life doesn't have a resolution!" Just an excuse for not being arsed.

Most of them mean well, I think, but social media encourages them to think of all people as their peers.

Part of the problem is that the people you’re seeing here on social media cherry pick chunks of history to make a kind of collage that expresses their pre-existing political views
