I normally use camcorder for previewing plots as @libbyheeren.bsky.social suggested but it's not quite working with the latest version of ggplot2.

Sometimes when people ask me why I’m wearing a mask I say I’m traveling or have some important thing soon and can’t afford to get sick and miss it and that’s pretty much always true but I think it would be nice if it were more normalized to just say “I don’t want to get sick” and leave it at that

You have to admire the bloody-minded ambition of a pelican trying to eat a whole capybara (who seems utterly unconcerned).
The thing with pelicans is that they have ONE super-power & their brains default to "get it in your mouth & deal with it later."
Let's talk about the gular sac of the pelican.

The Pacific spiny lumpsucker (Eumicrotremus orbis) answers the question: "What if tiny fish, but also suction cup?"
You can see that their little fins aren't really big enough for their tiny round bodies.
They've adapted to strong currents by turning pelvic fins into a biological suction cup.
