They don’t make em like they used to. Well they do but not with this much style. Just an atmospheric, tense flick that just never stops. Redford and Dunaway are great together and Von Sydow is just a merciless bastard and is great. If you can find it check it out. 8/10 #moviesky

An incredible film and my favorite from Redford. Just top to bottom amazing cast and direction with a still timely story about true events that really hit home. An absolute classic and a must see from my view. 9/10 #moviesky

New year and new theme this time focusing on an individual actor or director each month. This month Robert Redford who we lost last year but left a legacy of great flicks with this being one of theme. It’s the movie behind the meme and it’s bloody and tense and great. It’s on Tubi. 8/10 #moviesky

Well to wrap up the year a movie I had never seen yet knew all about. One thing that took me by surprise is until late in the movie there’s not much Xmas here and yet it’s considered an all timer and rightfully so. I enjoyed it immensely and get why it’s so beloved. 9/10 #moviesky

The original has never been my favorite so this sequel didn’t have to much for me to live up to. With that being said it’s fun it’s light and it’s perfectly fine. Doesn’t try anything new and is mostly just a rehash. I guess if you’re tired of the usual picks on tv you could go worse. 6/10 #moviesky

It was always going to be a challenge to follow up a classic and yet they pulled it off. The story is small but on a grand scale with great characters, locations, and themes. Any negatives? Well side missions can get repetitive but that’s my only complaint. 9/10 #videogamesky

Yeah…. There’s not a whole lot to say here. The original was decent enough with the ladies having great chemistry, but that can’t save this one. It’s dumb it’s crass it’s predictable. There’s way better Xmas movies out there pass on this one. 5/10 #moviesky

When he meets his end, I think we really have to do it up right. Imagine a combination of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Juneteenth, and Cinco de Mayo. Fireworks, presents, a turkey, a cookout, a taco bar, decorations, piñatas, mistletoe, bonfires, communion, and a fuckin wicker man.

With the original being one of my Xmas favorites my expectations were low… Why? Reviews were bad and by no means is this a classic but it’s not bad. Biggest problem here is it’s just more of the same. Still fun just not original. Best part is Kathy Bates who’s great. Rest is fine. 7/10 #moviesky

Well in this final month focusing on holiday movies rather then a year. This sequel to a Christmas movie…. Is solid. It has tons of action and a decent villian just missed the mark sometimes by for starters rehashing characters and scenarios. 7/10 #moviesky

It is almost universally the case that the re-designed home media packaging for movies pales in comparison to their original theatrical artwork in quality & iconography. One of the few exceptions to this rule is PREDATOR 2 (1990)

From the director of …. Robocop?! Comes an earnest albeit insane movie. This is the definition of a fun bad movie. It’s corny, weird, and at times downright embarrassing. Still it’s entertaining and means well it’s just a mess of a story and thin characters. 5/10 #moviesky

I was always led to believe that this was an awful movie and while by no means is it some hidden gem I have always had a soft spot for it. It has lots of good action and some good comedic notes. If someone told me they hated this movie I get it I just don’t mind it. 6/10 #moviesky

This month diving into 1995 with a movie that shouldn’t work at all but is a lot of fun with an all time soundtrack. The premise is thin but they make up with fun effects and tons of action that matched the games at the time. It’s a perfect party movie. 6/10 #moviesky

Awesome poster and premise aside I’d say this is an average Friday experience. The positives we see some of the best action and effects from not only the franchise but the decade. On the downside a cool premise goes nowhere and falls flat with nothing characters. 5/10 #moviesky

A rare sequel that adds a lot to the lore and the characters themselves. That’s uncommon with most sequels as just a change of scenery and adding a character or two is all that done. Here we learn more about Pinhead and get a lot of gore too. That’s what you want with a horror sequel. 7/10 #moviesky
