Imagine if Joe Biden had reposted a liberal pundit saying ‘shut up about gas prices’ in 2022. It would have led the news, all of the news, for days, weeks, on end.

Not sure I've ever seen a more obvious picture to remind us that police exist to protect the property of the ruling class, not the rights of the people.

You would think that this logic of offering citizenship to foreigners who have had their land stolen from them would apply to refugees and asylum seekers as well.

I can think of a few groups of people that have had their land stolen and “much worse than that” that this could also apply to!

This is what weak, flailing leadership looks like. His inability to make meaningful change in areas like this explains the desperate, authoritarian bluster of his largely illegal Executive Orders. This is the sort of leader who opposing politicians should definitely NOT cater to.

For the record, I don’t support shitting on or even commenting on anyone’s looks or appearance.

Except Elon, fuck him.

If I can do my small part in the world to bully the world’s richest man for being a fascist grifter, I will. That includes pointing out he is ugly.
I guess $340 Billion Net Worth isn’t enough to buy a decent haircut?

I have seen some call this a “Hitler Low Fade” which is also insane.

Elon’s barber either hates him or he let his son X cut his hair with safety scissors.

Absolutely. This was *the* most powerful part of US "soft power" in China through past 15 years.

Cancelling this is one more act of sabotage against US interests, values, and influence.

(I don't think Trump/Mask are active foreign agents. But if they were, what would they be doing differently?)
Not an exaggeration to say this was pound-for-pound the most effective piece of US public diplomacy in China. Twitter was blocked, but U.S. embassy pollution tweets forced Beijing to start publishing its own pollution data, which fed public outrage. Result: millions breathing vastly less toxic air
U.S. Embassies Halt Air Quality Monitoring Abroad
Since 2008, embassies and other diplomatic posts had been publishing data about local air quality. In many countries, it was the only reliable source of such information.

I am patiently waiting to read a headline mentioning DOGE that isn’t either completely stupid or just plain unethical.
Salt caves 2000 feet underground in New Mexico hold the radioactive nuclear waste from US defense projects. It's the world's only deep geologic repository.

And DOGE says it has terminated the very large office in Carlsbad that oversees it. Details 👇
DOGE Is Trying to Close a Field Office That Directly Manages a Nuclear Waste Site
The Department of Energy office in Carlsbad, New Mexico, is specifically set up to handle emergency situations at a nuclear storage facility. DOGE says it terminated the lease.
