Read # 4 for the year will be Kayli Scholtz’s St. Grit from @ghoulish.bsky.social in eBook form. I was fortunate to read an early draft of this one and I have a story alongside one of Kayli’s in the Nightmare Diaries anthology coming later this year from @moonstruckbooks.bsky.social, so here we go.

If you are a creative writer you likely don't want stock suggestions for your prose / verse coming from a computer's operating system. If you use Scrivener, uncheck this box (as well as others) for a less invasive writing experience.

Scrivener 3.3.6 here on MacOS Sonoma 14.1.

Where is a sea star's head? Maybe just about everywhere
A new study that combines genetic and molecular techniques helps solve the riddle of sea star (commonly called starfish) body plans, and how sea stars start life with bilateral body symmetry -- just l...

Co-sign. This is one of many reasons we made our open call for anthology submissions so long! Quality takes time.
Publishing is already hostile enough to working class writers without magazines that run poorly communicated two hour submission windows in the middle of the day. How do you expect people stuck on call centre phones or waiting tables or driving taxis to send their work to you?
