I was one of the journalists playing. IMO this is wildly overstated. It's a rather brief intermission interjection some humanity in the story. After that, Samus continues on her own again. It could have been very annoying, but it was respectfully and smartly placed.

Yeah, I'm spending less time here. I can't stand the pessimism any longer.
I don't even know if I want to spend that much time on BlueSky anymore. The longer I stay here, the more this place just feels like Twitter without the racists. It's nice to have no racism, I Just wish that the doomer talk and unceasing pessimism and annoying morality police were gone too.
