I've never done that, but I have killed all 300+ NPCs in the Hitman Colorado militia level. It started out as me just flubbing an early part of the level, then I just continued cleaning up the level.
It took seven hours, but a streamer grape-pressed almost every NPC in Hitman's Winery level at once. https://bit.ly/3Oe6AVx
