I try to believe as many true things as possible. Sometimes I'll stake a position just to see if I can defend it for fun.

The richest man in the world spent more money than most of us will see in our lifetimes to lose a state Supreme Court race by 10 points.

And the fact his $25 million was a drop in the bucket compared to what he's spent on other elections is exactly why we must overturn Citizens United.

I believe, though not incredibly strongly, that income taxes are unnecessary. If money is created, debt free, and used to pay for services, then you're adding value to the economy without having to pay it back. My suspicion is taxes would become necessary for cash giveaways, e.g. grants. Thoughts?

In the past 12 months, a majority of the World’s oldest & greatest democracies have held elections, in most cases, pitting centre/left govts against right/ far right opponents. In a majority of the elections held, far right parties have won with lies & disinformation, DON’T LET AUS & CANADA BE NEXT!

Yes, tariffs are a tax, but people don't mention often enough that they are a regressive tax. Taxes on consumer goods tax the poor at a higher rate, as basic necessities are a much larger part of their spending.

If food goes up by 20%, it is a tax on the poor. Rich people won't even notice.

Dear journalists: stop giving this administration the benefit of the doubt. Stop using old editorial standards and practices and norms. Assume that everything they say from the get-go is a lie because it always, always, is.
