Tonight’s Jimmy Kimmel monologue was a watershed moment for politics and free speech. He handled it with grace, dignity and humility. The more Trump comes after these people the less popular he will become.

Yeah, if you're in the media and someone insists that "they" were celebrating his murder and therefore "they" have to suffer some sort of retribution, you have an obligation to ask who "they" are and what, specifically, they did to celebrate this.
You can't just let them throw that gas on the fire.

Keep seeing/hearing news reports of MAGA fury at people celebrating Kirk’s killing (just now, NPR cited Stephen Miller’s outrage about this). But I have yet to see/hear a single example reported of such “celebration” —nothing close to Kirk’s own vile celebration of Paul Pelosi’s hammer attacker.
