Breaking: An Epstein survivor just silenced press conference attendees when she delivered the following remarks:

“Today we stand in a moment that will decide whether our government belongs to the American people, or to those who prey on them.”

You might not have caught what just happened on the Senate floor, but the Senate just “deemed as passed” the Epstein resolution.

That means as soon as it arrives from the House, it automatically passes the Senate (with no amendments) and heads to the President’s desk.

Wow.

A reminder that seven years ago almost to the day, the CIA determined that Mohammed Bin Salman ordered the killing of @washingtonpost.com journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

I hired and worked with Jamal for a year.

UPDATE: The vote to release the Epstein files has passed 427-1 in the House of Representatives.

The Epstein files are clearly more damning than we assumed, which is saying something.

A smart and compassionate young leader with bold policy and good organizing, or as Marc would say, a flawless campaign
Ayah Al-Zubi made history as the youngest person ever elected to the Cambridge City Council, at a time when young leaders on the political left are asserting themselves in positions of power.

Because of the Trump shutdown, the United States has closed the dining facility at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas and told US troops stationed in Germany to seek supplies from German food pantries.

All while Trump maintains threats of military action against multiple US cities and foreign countries.

My county is the one shaped like a gun pointing at Reno, the only yes county in a sea of no. I like these maps where you can click and see the separate results. Nevada County, we did good work. www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/c...

Early this morning, our city still plunged into darkness, I set off to walk the Brooklyn Bridge.

As the sun came up, we were joined by canvassers, labor leaders, elected officials, and working people — a movement to bring a new day to our city.

Tomorrow, we win it together.
