Good news! Last night a court ordered the federal government to return the search-and-rescue helicopter to Newport while the lawsuit is underway.

They want to put an ICE facility in Newport Oregon and are willing to kill a bunch of fisherman by denying them search and rescue during a really dangerous time of year... all so they can kidnap more people.

What an amazing find! The labor that goes into preserving and creating a searchable digital archive of newspapers is not small. It's a huge undertaking and I truly hope the university funds them! I hope, as an ephemera person, that they are about to preserve some of the physical copies as well!
