this is why the press is failing us. The democrats want the government to follow the law, the Administration thinks they are above the law. The country is doomed to fail if the law doesn't mean anything.
This is literally what CURRENT LAW requires. It’s in the Constitution! www.politico.com/news/2026/02...

Britain has dethroned a prince, forced Mandelson to resign, & lost confidence in Starmer because Rep. Thomas Massie & I forced the release of the Epstein files.

What is America doing to hold the Epstein class accountable?

We need to haul these powerful men before Congress.

Historian here Ugh @jeopardyofficial.bsky.social perpetrating the Dunning school of Reconstruction by making its clue “scalawag” for southern unionists and calling northerners “carpetbaggers” Hope you change that @kenjennings.bsky.social #theriseandfallofthesecondamericanrepublic

HUGE. A victory for more than a quarter million Haitians with Temporary Protected Status. A significant majority of them entered the United States legally and have never been out of status since.

Even the Trump admin isn't saying Haiti is a safe country for them to go back to.
BREAKING: Judge Ana Reyes, in DC, issues a stay of DHS Sec. Noem’s decision to end Haiti’s temporary protected status (TPS) designation, a decision that was to go into effect on Tuesday and could have ended legal status for up to 350,000 people overnight. storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.us...

Judge Reyes starts with a comparison: George Washington versus Kristi Noem.

Judge Reyes begins by explaining who the plaintiffs are: not "killers, leeches, or entitlement junkies" as Kristi Noem suggested.

They are a neuroscientist, a software engineer, a laboratory assistant, a registered nurse, and an economics major. All were facing deportation.

They're desparate to stop Senate Democrats from defunding ICE. Keep calling. Keep pushing.
Breaking:

WASHINGTON (AP) - Homeland Security Secretary Noem says every DHS officer deployed to Minneapolis is now being issued a body-worn camera.

Somebody already did this for 2025 (& I would give credit if I could find the post). But in fact January deserves its own censure from Lady Catherine de Bourgh:

I take no leave of you, January. I send no compliments to your mother. You deserve no such attention. I am most seriously displeased.

This Epstein drop is HUGE and utterly disgusting. I don’t see how this man is allowed to remain in office. Where are the evangelical leaders, the soccer moms, the folks stocking up on eggs, the farmers, the small business owners.

Decide. Who are you?

I remember thinking, at an earlier crackdown around queer lit — fine! I’ll just teach the canon: Melville, Whitman, Dickinson. But the threat of being turned in by students didn’t exist then. Everything seems weaponized now….

I stand with my colleagues at Texas A&M who deserve the right to teach their disciplines without government censorship.
"Texas A&M University said on Friday that it would end its women’s and gender studies program, and that the syllabuses for hundreds of courses had been altered under new policies limiting how race and gender ideology may be discussed in classrooms" (gift article)
