Thirty-something and tired. The partying Skeleton says "Enjoy, have fun, cheer up". Words to live by.
This Animal Crossing update is pretty good, I really like that the hotel actually functions and that the guests can roam the island. It's not just a set piece that you can decorate, it has an actual influence on the island's daily life.

You can tell my cat really likes his new food. He used to barely acknowledge when the dispenser dropped his nightly dry food, just now I heard his little peets running as soon as the first kibble hit the dish, lol.

Please email your local library and politely complain about Libby's AI "Inspire Me" feature.

Your local library worker will love this. Seriously. We had so many tools for collecting feedback.
the thing with Libby is you are not Libby's customer, your library is Libby's customer.

so I guess we should all complain to our libraries!

I really like having a huge cat actually. There's something comforting about hearing him walk around upstairs and if he were average sized he probably would be a lot quieter. (Don't worry about him, he's in an ideal weight range, he's just BIG.)

I was running around the dream islands that people on my friends list made available and y'know, my island isn't very special, it's a nicely curated and unexciting, but I'm still proud of it.

1. Did you know that Girl Scouts has, for a long time, accepted trans girls and nonbinary scouts?

Trans kids are under attack. Every year, I make a thread of trans and nonbinary girl scouts you can get your cookies from.

Lets get our cookies from them this year in solidarity!
2026 Trans Girl Scouts To Order Cookies From!
This year, consider ordering your Girl Scout cookies from a trans girl scout to make their day!

Neat! I just found out I can get a one week pass to different streaming services through my library! I poked around and started watching Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan. It's pretty good so far! Issey Takahashi really endeared himself to me by playing Satoru in Koisenu Futari, so I gave it a shot.

I already got angry at this months ago and while Im STILL filled with rage, YOU, the reader can still do something about it.

PBS is still alive and can benefit from YOUR support via their passport program where you can watch hard-hitting documentaries and movies.

Its not over.

If you want to help out indie authors beyond buying their books or reviewing/sharing them, don't forget to try and request their books for your local library too!

Making homemade NYE snackies, not because I'm feeling particularly like baking but because premade snacks are expensive and I have like a billion sheets of puff pastry at home. I did buy some hotdogs tho. NYE feels wrong without pigs in a blanket. I might make popcorn after the cinnamon twists too.

I think I've joked too many times about locking the doors when you leave so axe murderers don't get in, now house sounds when I'm alone are scary... Welp, as long as they leave my cat alone. 🤷

$0/75 on this, so I'm boosting again. 😮‍💨 Having a flare so standing to cook isn't an option, and we're mid-December with no food funds left thanks to bills. Any help for frozen veggies + meals would be greatly appreciated, thank you. #MutualAid #MAboost #TransMutualAid #Helpsky #Crowdfunding
Trying to fund-raise $75 that we had to spend on bills, that we needed for groceries. We're only half through the month and are out of money.

If anyone can help or sharing, I'd be grateful. 💜 Thank you. ko-fi.com/combatwombat...
