At last a challenge to that lunatic Trumps policy and autocratic style of government. But why do so many politicians from both houses and both sides just sit on their hands whilst the US becomes a laughing stock around the world?

I just signed this petition calling for a better deal with the EU for British businesses who have been damaged by Brexit. Will you add your name, too? www.europeanmovement.co.uk/business-rep...

One of my kids has dyslexia. After a lot of effort, she can and does read every day.
It isn't just the ignorance of this claim that is offensive; it's the arrogance in the face of evidence to the contrary.

Excellent!
I had the huge privilege of interviewing Jimmy Carter back in 2011 at his incredibly modest home in Plains, Georgia, with his wife, Rosalynn (who he bickered with in the most loving & curious way throughout the interview). An extraordinary man & legacy. RIP.

Jimmy Carter: 'We never dropped a bomb. We never fired a bullet. We never went to war'
He may live a modest life in a one-horse town, but Jimmy Carter, now 86, retains his global vision. In Plains, Georgia, Carole Cadwalladr found the 39th US president full of energy… and determined to ...

This should be headline news. #Brexit has been a disaster for the UK economy, and here are the figures showing just how much of a disaster.

Well Clacton, you voted for this imposter.
New Christmas lights just went up in Clacton.

Meantime according to the #Sky economist presenting on this pm's news, our trade deal with Australia and NZ is doing well, with the level of food imports rocketing....This is how #Brexit is working out for those leave-voting farmers.
Economy shrinks by a further 0.1%

Brexit has cut UK trade by up to 15%...

Immigration is much higher post Brexit

But..the...boats🙄

WAKE UP and smell the roses...or take your kids' future further into the mire. Then explain how poor we all are in 20 years time

Apart from the super rich of course
‘We’re getting poorer’ says Nigel Farage

In other news the Brexit he championed is on course to cut UK trade by a staggering 15% - a huge reduction in the potential economic performance of the country at a time when every penny counts

Obscene.
The combined net worth of America's twelve wealthiest people just passed $2 TRILLION.

12 people. $2 trillion.

The bottom half of America collectively holds $3.5 trillion.

Wealth inequality is eating this country alive.
America's 12 richest men now worth a combined $2 trillion
Their net worth is less than $2 trillion short of the wealth of the bottom half of the U.S.

Spot on. 👏
I don't love it either, but I'm not sure how you tell a man that he should let his only surviving son rot in prison to respect norms, institutions, and the rule of law, when the country you devoted your life to serving just pretty comprehensively voted they don't give a shit about any of that.
