One of the most hated airport security procedures is finally being phased out, nearly 20 years after it was first implemented. As of this week the TSA will allow airline passengers to keep their shoes on as they go through screening lanes at airports across the country for the first time since 2006.

You know when there's only like 15 pages left in a book or 5 minutes left in a movie and nothing's been resolved and you get that weird closure anxiety like "okay there's no way any of this is gonna be wrapped up in a way that makes any sense.” That's what everything feels like all the time now.
