hey, this might sound a little freaky, maybe even a little radical, but I think the focus should be making sure writers/artists are properly compensated, supported, and have a secure way of living/creating instead of trying to replace us with robots, and/or having us train them.

It is always amusing to see people take what Zack says, well out of context and act like he is not actually putting forward a sensible policy idea. He says, oh the end goal will be to rejoin the EU, not, we will rejoin tomorrow.

This is like one of the biggest failings with the Online Safety Act in the UK, is it is nanny state behaviour and actually wont do anything.
The biggest issue that was discussed at some round tables I attended, was where is the investment in digital literacy for parents. parents need to do it

One thing I love about my efforts with art over the past several months, is making the time for it and I just get to see how I am improving and what I am learning from it. It is really cool, and I love it.

In the wake of the AI "art" discourse, I painted this earlier in about 15 minutes. Just messing around with watercolour blending and just giving some stuff a go from an art book I own. It was a joy to create, not something you get from just punching a few words into a prompt getting a rando image
Just did some free painting with watercolours, and was quite happy with the result, need to work on it and improve.
