Oh 100% in agreement on that. - had it not been subject to the rhetoric "Think of the Children" it may have seen a lot more scrutiny and coverage.

There are wider issues around digital literacy, knowledge of parents to set up parental controls, balancing protection with privacy. We have already seen a bundle of data breaches regarding age verification. Do children need to be protected, yes, but there are wider considerations at play.

Exactly that as well, + Casino Royale opens with Bond in the process of the mission in which he ends up earning his 00 status. Arguably, it is the most self-contained set of Bond films.
In all truth, I am mostly disappointed we didn't get more of Christoph Waltz as Blofeld.

I kinda wanna hear a full on pitch for this. Like there are some good ideas in said concept. I would lift a bit from Deus Ex Human Revolution myself

Especially after Skyfall and Spectre, actually goes through quite a few lengths to go into the background of James Bond in the Craig films. Like, it is pretty established that James Bond is not just a pseudonym used by agents. Urgh, it is just bad writing to go down that route imo

The Bond Films continuity only really exists in the set of films per actor, with loose references to previous films where it kinda made sense to do so. Personally, if they decide to lean on the theory that "James Bond" is a code name given to different agents, is going to be so arse.

Personally in agreement, especially if this is like their line of thinking. Imagine being so culturally brain poisoned by the MCU, that you are as a writer obsessing over Bond continuity.

They probably have champange waiting in the wings for it. On the, "Elon will have an AI that will replace him" scenario, 10/10 a hilarious Bleak House type scenario, where the Lawyers involved in disputing it have all made bank and 20 years it is not resolved, but there is no money in the estate

Well, even with a will. A lot of his fortune is locked up in assets that are basically collateral to his all his loans and acquisitions. They will come a knocking, when he dies, his children are probably going to be left with nothing

Always fun to see a party insisting they need to win an election to save democracy express utter disdain for democratic processes.
The party belongs to the people who run it, that is the sort of disdain for voters that loses elections

Oates goes through weird phases, there are moments where her posting was like, please stop, but there are other times where she is just cooking so hard with her posts.

I also love how Trevor Phillips makes the major fallacy in this whole discussion, going why not just use the term women if trans women are women and not pregnant people. Not everyone who can get pregnant are women, it is so simple, why can't people understand that.

There is another avenue to this problem that I have seen recently, is the expectation for what Entry-level jobs there are now seems to hinge on experience most people entering the workforce don't have. Even graduate positions, I am now seeing, people get turned down for not having enough experience

No worries, it is good to see people pointing out the core shortcomings of the labour party. And absolutely there are more examples, but don't wanna be posting all day to catch them all.

It will have done one good thing if it collapses, which is wiping out billions from VC funds and the super wealthy that invest in them.
