Solar maximum. All the beautiful auroras are actually warning signs of deep penetrating harmful radiation that our atmosphere is having difficulty shielding against on any flight north of the Mason-Dixon line. It even made the weather channel not that anyone seemed to notice.

I will continue to maintain that the OU situation is both an attempt to punish a trans person for existing publicly and an entirely predictable outcome from a system where even tenured professors feared this sort of retribution for at least the last 15 years.
