Massie: "The president has been saying this is a hoax. Well, he's just now decided to investigate a hoax, if it's a hoax. And I have another concern about these investigations he's announced. If they have ongoing investigations, those documents can't be released. So this might be a big smokescreen."

We taxpayers give businesses subsidies rewarding them for UNDERPAYING their employees. We do this by giving SNAP benefits and ACA insurance discounts to the underpaid workers, but the CEO’s and business owners get to pocket the money they didn’t pay out. WE’RE CHEATING OURSELVES!!!

KARL: The president claims that Thanksgiving costs are down 25%. Does he know that's not true?

HASSETT: Well if you look at Walmart--

KARL: Wait a minute. I've gotta stop you. The Walmart package this year contains much less than the one last year. That's why the price is less.

One step in the right direction isn’t the journey. I’m glad to see some improvement, but MTG needs to make a public, but direct apology to David Hogg and AOC for hounding and threatening them.
BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.

I can’t repeat this enough. BUSINESSES MUST PAY A LIVING WAGE. Any business that fails to pay wages that support their employees with decent housing, food, and health insurance should be fined double the cost of providing that until they pay decent wages.
It's hard to express what it meant to watch Maurice, Natalia, Celeste, and Rhea tell their stories—in their own voices—this morning.

The segment revealed a brutal reality: homelessness at this scale isn't about personal failure. It's the result of policy choices and systems built to exploit people.

Before ACA, I regularly had patients who bought insurance they thought was "best for them". I've seen $50k annual max, $500k lifetime max, plans w/ no Rx coverage, plans *carving out* cancer treatment, plans that denied leukemia treatment because prior iron deficiency anemia was a pre-existing. /1

Both parties should support this. Using AI to generate a video of a candidate saying something he didn’t say should be illegal. Especially since many voters think it is real. I will condemn any candidate from either party who does this.

Handing people a little bit of money is supposed to magically make them “informed consumers.” WHAT??? 😳🙄😳
Cassidy: "The president is proposing that we take the $26b that would be going to insurance companies if we just do an extension and give it directly to the American people in which 100% of the money is used for them to purchase healthcare on their own terms. That makes them an informed consumer."
