I went for the pro trans and stayed for the delight of watching him.
Don't forget that Zohran Mamdani spent his entire campaign standing proudly beside the trans community. He went to trans rights rallies just to show support. He proudly waved trans rights flags without hesitation. He refused to back down in support of trans rights. That makes me happy.

Note that nonprofits that work with immigrants or transgender people are singled out. They just won't stop.

I don't know why this hit me like a brick.
Well, thank fucking God this isn't an issue anyone cares about now that Biden isn't president.

This will effectively be a nationwide ban, per the article. Plans may come out in early November.

The parents went to great effort to correct the birth certificate (which marked F by mistake) but the school will only accept the ORIGINAL. Would not accept a Drs note. The school suggests he may be able to pay $1500 to get chromosome analysis. Meanwhile he has to be treated like any other "girl."
His high school is saying that a boy, who was born a boy with boy parts, must play on the girl's team to ensure "fairness." He's not trans. A doctor submitted a note that he is "a biological male." The school makes him use a separate bathroom. www.fox13now.com/us-news/birt...

Conversion therapy destroys you. It's torture. I was waterboarded with vinegar until I said I was a boy and wanted to be a boy. I still have nightmares about it to this day.

That's what they want SCOTUS to protect.

Oh man I didn't even think of that. Ugh.
Man. Justice Alito is going to wind up voting (1) FOR gender-affirming care bans, because states get to regulate that medicine and (2) AGAINST conversion therapy bans, because states do not get to regulate that medicine. He will not experience cognitive dissonance.

for example, there is a spectrum of fair or unfair things that can happen if you (a cis person) commit a crime and are sent to prison

but i will most likely be placed in a men's prison and raped to death no matter the crime/sentence (V coding) with the alternative being solitary confinement forever
Under the Third Reich, most Germans generally lived in the law-bound normative state, while Jews and other disfavored people were victims of the arbitrary and violent prerogative state.

The dual state is characterized by the facade of normalcy obscuring the fact of an authoritarian state.
The “dual state” theory was invented to describe Nazis. The Supreme Court could take us there.
