While listening to the first episode of this new great podcast series on tradwife culture, my algorithm served me a newspaper op-ed by a politician running for city council calling for the closure of Gender Museum Denmark due to wokeness and erasure of cultural heritage. Antidote to election season.
The first episode of my new series Truly Tradly Deeply is here! We dive into the evolution of the tradwife subculture, how hyper-feminine aesthetics are weaponised by the European far right, and why Phyllis Schlafly was a Lean In Girlboss 💅💖

We are happy and proud to announce the publication of an edited anthology titled Danish Marxism: Past, Present, Future (Problema, 2025).

The book celebrates 10 years of organising by bringing 6 reflective pieces together with CfPs and abstracts from all our conferences.

Denmark - where social democrats happily mock right wing politician (who's been sentenced to jail for breaking human rights) for not having a strong enough immigration policy during their time as Minister.

Opening of parliament and municipal elections always bring the best out of everybody.

Reviewed of Jacob Lunds book "Transformation af virkelighed: Tekster om litteratur, kunst, politik." for the journal Passage - tidsskrift for litteratur og kritik.

Great book of aesthetic analysis but maybe also showcases some of the issues around the idea of politics within an aesthetic framework.

I attended the first conference in 2016 and clearly remember one of the presenters opening their talk with something like: "I had a whole presentation prepared, but then I spent the summer reading Althusser". Who shouldn't?

Looking forward to present this year and meet all the other participants
New conference program just dropped!

Go check it out!

Want something to look forward to? (Also yes)

What about hanging out with these smart and hillarious marxists at a FREE conference for exciting new marxist research and critical theory while you drink FREE coffee? (Yes, this is real life!)

You might think I am hyperbolical and overly profane in my rhetoric… but this is the fucking Lemkin Institute for Genocide Studies.

This is how desperate the circumstances are.

My grandmother's husband died this spring. We weren't close, but I have good memories of watching Tom & Jerry with him as a child and being curious about all the different kinds of books he had. He was not an academic, but worked in a nursing home. His love of books inspired me as I grew older.

Danish social democratic PM's new best friend is Giorgia Meloni. They found each other over a shared sense that the conventions protects the wrong people = "smugglers".

The least surprising friendship in years.
