We have lost all contact with our UNRWA colleagues in Gaza, communications have been cut off.

This morning, for the first time in months, we did not receive their morning messages to say, "good morning" and "we are fine/alive".

We anxiously await to hear from our colleagues.

Tonight I added controls to edit the SDF shapes in the scene view. That speeds up modelling tremendously. Still a lot to do, but it's starting to shape up.

Tonight I added symmetry to the SDF thing. Super useful for doing faces and other things..

There's no limit on the number of symmetry planes you can add, they just mirror anything that comes after them in the hierarchy. Bounds are not computed correctly yet + a few other short comings..

More progress on the SDF modelling system. Most of the basics operations are working, so now it's time to make the workflow faster.

The SDFs are rendered with raymarching and are fully integrated with the Universal Render Pipeline, so depth, shadows, lighting etc. works correctly.

I'm having a great time playing around with Signed Distance Fields. It's super quick and easy to put together some simple shapes and create some fun models.

RIP Mark Sibly. One of the true heroes of game development. You made the world better.
This is sad news indeed. Mark is a hero to me. Totally changed the direction of my life with Blitz (first on Amiga then later on PC with Blitz Plus/Blitz Max/Monkey).

RIP Mark Sibly.
