Fundamentally having dopamine and norepinephrine production and regulation issues means that your brain is an confusingly designed gas guzzler of a car and everyone just bootstraps their day-to-day every day. Thinking is work. Waking up is work. creative stuff is work. Basic care tasks are work.
just because I don't think enough people are aware: adhd has a /massive/ impact on your ENERGY to do any mental labor and that does include just motivation to do anything

I think what kills me here is that we went through a whole like 10 year "men should express their feelings more" narrative, which was true, but now... this lol

Neat, I can invent villains in my head too.

People are gonna compare Terminator 2d to contra and it's not an invalid comparison, but I think it has a lot more in common with rolling thunder. You're vulnerable in a lot of the same ways, and jumping isn't generally super safe like it often is in contra, mainly because you don't curl into a ball

Terminator 2d is really neat! It feels like if one of those old ocean movie games, where every scene is a different gameplay style, had actually been executed well.

Quick little goblin jester. Might fuck around and make two more and make them three brothers who perform together

I think I fundamentally dislike black mirror because it feels misanthropic in a lazy way. It's very Reddit rationalist in that way, like the tv show equivalent of a "no lives matter" meme

i don't understand the arguments against more regulations on car speed and driver safety. seems selfish. if 40,000 people were dying from air conditioners falling on them, i'd say, "damn, they should make it harder to drop air conditioners out of your window."
It’s important to contextualize just how much less safe American drivers are than everywhere else in the world, and it’s getting worse!

Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.
