Palestine Action have WON their judicial review in the High Court!
A massive victory for free speech, freedom of association and the right to protest.
A massive defeat for the draconian attempts by Keir Starmer's government to curtail our fundamental rights.

Nice to have some good news. The Palestine Action ban was transparently and cynically confected, a nasty little piece of political chicanery. Yvette Cooper, Keir Starmer and his entire government should feel deep shame, but I don't doubt they'll contest the decision.

So the Palestine Action ban has been ruled unlawful by the UK courts.

The government knew this would be the case at the time but they were willing to go against the law in an attempt to deny people their human rights.

All to support a genocidal regime who gives them money.

High Court squashes Palestine Action ban: a huge victory for freedom of protest and a humiliating defeat for the Labour government.

A huge embarrassment too for the hundreds of MPs (Labour, Liberal Democrat and SNP) who voted for, or abstained, on the ban despite knowing it was wrong.

The High Court has confirmed what we all knew: proscribing Palestine Action was unlawful.

The state must stop using “counter-terror” powers to criminalise solidarity and intimidate working-class people out of protest.

The Labour government must lift the proscription now and drop every case NOW.

The rights of British citizens were taken taken away, thousands arrested, many charged simply for holding a sign.

This ruling shows that proscribing Palestine Action was a grave misuse of terrorism laws.

Labour must accept its mistake, drop its appeal and stop wasting taxpayers' money on suppressing civil liberties.

Good news today. The UK government proscription of Palestine Action has been deemed unlawful by the High Court. That should end the brutal persecution and prosecution of Palestine supporters, of course. It should also lead to grave consequences for Keir Starmer and his terror cabinet.
