Note to lawyers: Dying constitutions are never fundamentally revised or replaced according to the rules of the dying constitution. (See, e.g., replacement of Articles of Confederation, and also ratification of current constitution's Fourteenth Amendment).
Which is why it’s important to start thinking about what might be put in its place (and how the destroyers of the old order can be held to account) without being constrained by biased rules interpreted by biased referees.

If we're finally going to crack down about lying to Congress under oath, I think there are several Cabinet members and a few Supreme Court justices whose testimonies might need revisiting.

At this point we are not living in country where the normal rules apply. I wish Democrats would recognize that. There is no reason, if Democrats take power, for them to acknowledge the validity of presidential pardons. That power was not meant to immunize a crime family from prosecution.
