I have a DRS sign from the 2018 Canadian grand prix. Stroll crashed and the rest of the race was a procession. After the race they let us walk on track and it was just laying on the side of the course.

I cannot think of a more prepared community for this than the birding community. Between eBird rarity alerts, gripes about common misidentifications, and just general gossip, we're dialed. "Hey, are y'all looking for the least bittern too?"

Look, there are better, more precise reasons why LLMs in particular won't be this magic bullet to create all true statements. But if you ever hear someone try to suggest a computer program can be written that will uncover all the truths out there, just ask them about how they solve Gödel's theorem.

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Hi bsky birding folks! I'll be going on a pilgrimage across Spain on the Camino de Santiago starting the 3rd week of August. As part of it I'm hoping to do some birding along the way. Does anyone have any good places to check out along the Camino Frances, or for after once we've finished? Thanks! 🪶

I'm sitting and waiting for the chance to pre-order tickets to the USMNT this fall. I'm in the second wave as a season ticket holder for the Rapids. Only one group went before me and I'm seeing hundreds of resale tickets already on the market.
