How about a🧵with everyone’s hobby’s?

How is it possible that Kristi Noem still has this job. Imagine if you’re a family member or a shipmate of this guardsman.

Have heard some self described “conservative Catholics” grumble about this, but deportation is in the same paragraph as abortion in the Pastoral Constitution of the Church as an example of sins against the inalienable rights of the human person. (Gaudium et Spes #27).
Letter of Cardinal Cupich to Archdiocesan priests: “We fail in living up to our faith if we claim to follow Christ, while dismissing the suffering of migrants.”

I 100% agree with this, but have to go with “disgusted”. Edwards’ only concedes he ‘should have taken a sick day’.

He doesn’t seem to have a problem with initially outsourcing a key journalistic integrity task to an experimental Claude Code tool or then turning to ChatGPT when it failed.
Using AI here is akin to mishandling the chain of evidence. Even on the AI beat for a tech outlet, using these tools at any point in the process is a serious breach of journalistic integrity. As someone who has been reading and following you for years, I'm disappointed.

Note: Allegations of racial profiling aren’t just coming from congressional Democrats.

Over the past month, Cardinal Cupich, who oversees the Archdiocese of Chicago, has repeatedly claimed that his own priests have been racially profiled by DHS agents. religionnews.com/2026/02/10/c...

The fact that the IRS disclosed confidential tax data to DHS is a big deal — but so is the bigger picture.

Given that this revelation comes on the heels of Trump’s absurd civil suit against the IRS, the timing ... isn’t great.

It might’ve been tempting to shrug when Steve Bannon talked about deploying ICE to local voting precincts, since he’s not a public official.

When GOP lawmakers push the same idea, it’s worse. www.ms.now/rachel-maddo...
It’s not just Bannon: Republican lawmakers want ICE agents at local voting precincts
“There’s no reason for us to deploy to a polling facility,” the acting head of ICE said. Some GOP officials want to see it happen anyway.
