By the time the World Cup comes around, the 2026 MLS season will be four months in. They’ll be in mid season form so this seems pretty ideal to me
Barring a loan/transfer Alex Freeman, Diego Luna, Jack McGlynn and Matt Turner won’t play another competitive match until late February 2026 — four full months from now. Not ideal for the #USMNT heading into a World Cup.

This is actually embarrassing. They could have gone up to Spencer’s Butte and had people hold scarves with Eugene in the background, partnered with the University of Oregon, since it’s only blocks away from the stadium, or using literally anything else in Eugene would have been better than AI.
