No desire to look it up at moment, but that may be 1st time a Seattle pro team has inserted a keeper specifically for shootout situation. Can't recall a precedent, but perhaps in USL era.

If you hang around long enough ... Since 10th min I couldn't shake memory of '81 Sounders, in a deciding Game 3 playoff at Chicago, blowing 1-0 lead to 10-man Sting, 3-2. Chicago went on to win NASL title.
